I started this business after being a PDR tech for 25 years because I genuinely believe there's a fundamental flaw in the way Paintless Dent Removal (PDR) is traditionally taught.

Confidence drops, motivation fades, and many people eventually give up. It's one of the biggest reasons the success rate within this industry is far lower than it should be.

That's exactly why I created the Metal Mind Home PDR Training Rig.

This training rig has been specifically designed to recreate the feel of working on a real vehicle panel while being compact enough to use almost anywhere—on your dining table, kitchen worktop, in your workshop, office, or even on the floor. Day or night, whatever the weather, you now have the freedom to practise whenever you want.

THE PROGRAMME

The training follows a structured 10-stage programme, carefully designed to build your ability in the correct order.

When your kit arrives, you'll receive four Level 1 training panels, each containing pre-installed dents. These are the exact same dents that I'll be repairing in the online training videos, allowing me to guide you through every repair step-by-step.

You'll learn:

• Correct tool handling

• How to read the light board

• Accurate tip location

• Knockdown techniques

• Small dent repairs

• Crease repairs

• Large shallow dents

Even better, you'll be using the exact same tools that I use throughout the training. That removes the guesswork, eliminates confusion, and allows you to focus purely on building your technique.

Your kit contains everything you need to complete Levels One and Two of the programme. As your skills develop, additional tools and techniques are introduced gradually, ensuring you never feel overwhelmed and allowing you to build confidence before moving to the next stage.

My goal isn't simply to teach you how to push dents.

My goal is to build you into a confident, capable PDR technician with the right habits, the right techniques, and the confidence to continue improving long after the course is complete. Metal Mind PDR Academy offers a complete online learning system designed specifically for beginners. (With a one day in-person training day option on request) With ten structured courses that build on one another, you can learn at your own pace, revisit lessons whenever you need to, and steadily develop the skills required to become a professional PDR technician.
